I wanted to continue using the techique I discovered in the last piece. I wanted a feeling of an epic adventure, adding the sleeping dragon protecting an ancient sword, and a traveler stumbling over it. He doesnt yet dare to climb over the dragons tail. I also wanted to experiment a bit with light, having it come mostly from the torch the traveler is holding up.
I think a lot of my inspiration from this piece comes from a game called Elder Scrolls, which largly is about dragons coming back alive.
