I wanted to explore new types of dragons, and was inspired by manta rays to create the blue one. I wanted the sky to have a flowing feel, to remind you of the ocean. The birds in the background also adds to that feeling, and I image this to be above the waters. I wanted to give the brown dragon a kind of spiky, poisonous look, and a very spiky back.
