I wanted to make a piece to officially introduce the new character, Andrew. I wanted to capture his goofball attitude, and show that he really doesn't realise his strength. He's a bit of a dunce, huh?
I tried to do the light a bit differently this time, to experiment a bit with thick lines of light. I am also experimenting with using a rugged brush on the shadows, lineart and some of the colours. I like the look of it. While still looking clean, it gives a rugged line I really like.

Hilda is a show on netflix, based on a graphic novel by Luke Pearson. It uses very rugged lines that gives the show a really nice look. The landscape and background art has also inspired me a lot in my style.
