This is a painting that gives me a lot of feelings instantly. There is a lot unsaid in this painting, that gives a strong emotion of lingering hopelessness. I have explored a lot in colour theory for this painting, which I think paid off a lot. I don't have a lot to say about this, other than that I love it. It is one of my all time favourites from this term. It shows a girl waiting to enter her car, while looking over at the distant town. While she is in the shadows, the town is bursting with vibrant colours.
